Hard Reset for Asus Zenfone Pegasus 3
In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Asus Zenfone Pegasus 3.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Asus Zenfone Pegasus 3 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction #1
1. Press and hold the Power key until the device turns off.
2. Next, press and hold Volume Down + Power button.
3. Release held keys when an Asus Zenfone logo appears before you.
4. Select Recovery option by pressing Volume Down and then Power button.
5. Android logo will show on screen. When it does, press and hold the Power button.
6. Continue holding the Power button and press, just once, Volume Up button.
7. Select wipe data/factory reset by pressing Volume Down button. Press Power button to confirm.
8. You need to choose Yes - delete all user data. Scroll with Volume Down and select with Power button.
9. Restart the phone by selecting Reboot system now.
10. You have completed the factory reset.
Instruction #2
1. Power on the device by pressing and holding the Power key.
2. Your next step should be to go to Settings.
3. Now choose Backup & Reset, then go to Factory data reset.
4. Select Reset device.
5. To complete the operation, please select Erase everything.
6. Your work is done, and the hard reset process is complete.
